Work History

Present:

I maintain a private psychotherapy practice in Armonk, NY. I have been counseling adults, adolescents, children and seniors for over 25 years.

 

I counsel residents at The Kensington, an assisted living facility in White Plains, a day and a half a week.

 

Past:

As Coordinator of Mount Kisco Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Council and Partners in Prevention I administered a federal grant and community prevention program.

At The Center for Preventive Psychiatry, I supervised social workers focusing on family crisis and trauma.

I worked as a Student Assistance Counselor for 2 ½ years in Bronxville and Irvington High Schools.

At Somers Manor Nursing Home and Northern Metropolitan Nursing Home I was a consultant and supervisor.

I worked in the out-patient mental health department at BMHC- Jacobi Hospital for 4 years.

I was an Adjunct Professor at New York University from 1987-1988.
